life after aqua fit

Hello world,

It's me Heidi and I'm back...it took me some time to get back to the computer but I'm here ready for action. Today I took an aqua fit class with the best instructor on the planet her name is Samantha. When I tell you this lady is awesome you have to know it's coming from a place that I didn't even know existed. She really pushes you along making you want to just keep going it's great. I've enjoyed taking classes with her infact she's agreed to be my mentor if you will. We're working together to help up the fitness facttor.

I'm not what's known as a gym rat...all my life I've practiced what is called "stealth-health." What's "steath-health?" It is including your fitness into everyday activities. Say you go to grocery store, first thing, park in back of the parking lot, why cause you can get some exericse walking to the store. After your done shopping you've got alot of bags but not too many that you can't leave the basket and carry those bags back to the car. Talk about working the arms and legs. Keep the routine going when you get home...carry all those bags into the house in one trip. I consider myself the queen of the one trips and I have the toned arms to show for it.

Looking for another way to get in a work-out while living your everyday life...how about taking the stairs instead of an elevator. The more steps the better your booty will look. You just had a baby and you don't even get out of the house, well guess what use that baby as a weight...lay on your back hold your baby like you're picking him/her up and lift the baby away from your chest and back down start with a small amount of reps till you get the hang of it. You can also sit the baby on your tummy and lift your legs to work the lower tummy and lift your head like you're doing crunches for the top part of your tummy throw in some a twist from side to side and in a very short time you've worked out arms, legs and tummy.

There is no excuse not to feel good about your body. All you have to do is make a decison that you are going to take care of yourself and start today. See ya on the dancefloor!

fisrt day of the rest of my life...

Hello World,

My name is Heidi. I'd like to welcome you all on my incredible journey. What journey? I am the next fitness guru. What's that? I have a vision of uplifting and empowering women (mother's in particular) through dance, fitness and diet. When I say diet I'm speaking of the actual food you eat, not limited the food, but being mindful of the nutritional value. We eat to sustain our bodies optimal performance level. That's it!

When I hear music, especially Reggae music, I have to dance. The music starts the boogie taps me on the shoulder and before I know it I'm "boogie on reggae woman right across the floor," to quote the great Stevie Wonder, twirling around the dance floor, swaying my hips, swinging my arms and feeling free to be me. The only thing I wonder is why everyone isn't up moving? How can they sit and not move to the glorious beat?

So here I am today, the first day of the rest of my life documenting this monumental event. If I can reach one woman get her to believe in her ability and self-value then I will have made a difference. Then together we will reach another woman and before long more women will believe in themselves and their powerful abilities. We will set a new standard for our daughters, nieces and sister-friends.

It's our time, we are the creators of the universe, we have to stand-up and set positive examples of womanhood while feeling good about ourselves and looking good too...I'll see you on the dance floor!
